The best and worst events of Mace's life occurred in a summer long since passed. She was but a sixteen-years-old. Just a child, really. But that summer Mace learned more than any adult could learn in their entire life.
Even now, years later, Mace still reminds herself, "Wisdom breeds from one of three things: Tragedy, Love, or Time." She only had to suffer from two of the three that summer: Love and Tragedy. And both came in the form of Blake Philk.
