Knowing that the very existence of your mortal enemy depends on one person is of powerful knowledge to have. Either you use it for the better or for the worse. Sherlock Holmes, the great consulting detective, has little idea what he's using it for.

James Moriarty, the world's best consulting criminal, slips a piece of information that proves far away across the seas of England, lives a one girl that keeps him alive.

Sherlock will stop at nothing to eliminate that one thing and get rid of Moriarty for good. But how can he do so and continue to be the good guy at the same time?

Greta Levine, the only person in the world to get close to the Napoleon of Crime without even realizing it, knows nothing of the adventure that awaits her and the man she thought she knew and loved.

Great trial and tribulation will test Sherlock and his partner, John Watson, to the point of hopelessness. The real question is will all of the hardships be worth it?

After all, you can't trust a spider in his web.

And what if the spider can't trust his own web?

(This story is set before the fall of Sherlock and the Christmas Special ((Season 4)) so it progresses on with some changes to plot line to keep story un-confusing. Aspects of original plot line have been changed to keep story relevant!)
