Mark Bishop had a normal life.
He had an apartment, a car, a job as a bartender, and most of all, a girlfriend that loved him back. That said she loved him back. For real this time.
Her name was Adrien. And she was his world.
But good things never last long. When a letter comes, his world comes crumbling down. In between old drug use and regretful experiences that beg to come crawling back, spending a year with his girlfriend over seas in the Navy is proving as his most challenging year of his entire life.
