Astrid Lacroix and her family move to the outlying fields in Texas, where the cities grow less and the fields grow bigger. Astrid was always known as a city girl, but she was furious when she found out she was moving to a farmland. Everything for Astrid was crumbling at first until she met a cowboy that'll change her life.
Hunter Cahill is the son of one of the best farmers in the fields of Iowa. His main priority was school and helping his dad out. He becomes suspicious of his new neighbors that have moved in near their property.
As Astrid and Hunter meet, they don't get along too well. Everywhere they went together, tension was thick. The more the two learn about each other, they thought maybe they could become friends. Their friendship soon turns into something more, and they love it.
Astrid later on learns to embrace her new life and to love his southern life.
