It All Started With A Proposal

"I dare you,"

He said to me with determination in his eyes.

"I dare you to accept my proposal. If you do then I will make you the happiest women on earth."

"What happens if I don't?" I challenged him.

Who does he think he is just popping back into my life whenever he wants? It's been two years since we've last spoken! And now he's asking for my hand in marriage!?

"You will because I'm Adam Mathews and you're Zamzam Amin. The girl who got the airhead jock to change his ways."

"Deal?"

I thought for a moment. I loved him once and the only thing keeping us apart was that he needed to figure himself out and now he has! He also showed up in front of my dad and asked for my hand.

"Maybe."

I then got up and walked away. It won't that easy to win me back, play boy.

Two years had gone by since Zamzam and Adam had last spoken. They're both different people now, Zamzam is now a Freshman in college while Adam just got back from traveling the world. Now that Adam's come back he's ready to ask for Zamzam's hand in marriage. Will Zamzam accept? Will she forgive him for being gone so long? Or will the time they've spent apart get between them?
