She was crying and it was all his fault. "No one deserves that. Especially you Janie." I paused to wipe a stray tear from her cheek, and leaned in to whisper to her, "You're perfect." She continued to cry as she snuggled closer to me, if that was even possible. I felt her move her hands to wipe away her tears before she looked up at me. Her stunning hazel eyes were filled with tears, but she blinked them away. I held her gaze as I heard the roughness in her voice as she spoke. "Thank you." ***** Jane Parker is just your average seventeen year old girl. She's popular, but definitely isn't your stuck up bitch. She's just plain Jane. Being on the varsity team for both basketball and soccer she’s developed a life dedicated to the two sports. Don’t get me wrong, she’s made time for her studies, friends, and best friend Cindy James. She’s also managed to land herself the football team’s wide receiver, Darren Wright, as her boyfriend. Although he can be a jerk at times, she still seems to have convinced herself that she can love him. Meet Jace Journes, the uptight wide receiver’s best friend. Jace is a player, he knows nothing of the concept of love, but someone changes that the first day he lays eyes on her. During an interesting game between Jane and Jace’s summer co-ed basketball team the two can’t help, but have these undeniable feelings for each other, but knowing that they'll most likely never see each other again, she immediately shakes her head of the sudden attraction. What happens when Jace shows up at her school the first day back and the feelings slowly become crystal clear as they spend a big amount of time together

Completed - He had me pinned against the wall outside of his dorm late at night. He was staring down at me angrily. I was confused to say the least. "Are you okay, Jackson?" "No," He shook his head. "Pissed." I was about to ask why but then he continued. "I'm supposed to be a player, Jaycee." He groaned. "But here you are, fucking making me fall for you." What had I done to make him fall for me? Then he smashed his lips onto mine. ~•~ Jaycee was smart, she accepted that. She wasn't the prettiest (in her own eyes) but she accepted that. She was quiet and sweet, she accepted that. What she didn't accept? Someone to be disrespectful toward her. Jackson isn't very intelligent, he accepted that. He was gorgeous, he definitely accepted that. He was loud and obnoxious, he accepted that. What he didn't accept? Someone to reject him. When these two cross paths, it's like Mother Nature was asking for love, hate, loss, betrayal, etc. ••• reached #5 on Teen Fiction May 4th 2015
