Everything dies. While this truism is morbid, it is a fact of life, the great equaliser, and something that nineteen year-old street artist Chris Kearney learns with brutal finality.

When he joins a bureaucratic league of dead people who collect souls for a living, his old life in the living world refuses to leave him behind. His friend and family, suffering in the aftermath of his sudden death, are caught between mourning him and searching for him.

It just so happens that death might only be the beginning.

The Grim Reaper Effect

54 bahagian Cerita Lengkap

Death is a funny thing. It's the ultimate step out of our comfort zones. You realize this world is the biggest comfort zone there is. Earth has always been a constant in a constantly changing world. We're all born into it with this air of certainty. We always know the ground under our feet will be there tomorrow. Death is like waking up and that comfort of the world around you is destroyed. -AD // Mackenzie Oliver is finally a senior. She's ready to graduate and move on with life. But it's not that simple. In fact, it's impossible. One day, some random guy shows up claiming to be the Grim Reaper and tells her she only has one year to live. What do you say to that? "Bullshit." Unfortunately, vulgar language isn't going to stop the clock or save her life. Neither is slapping the Grim Reaper across the face. But, hey. It never hurts to try. Copyright © 2017 by AD
