My call letter was on the front door, and my happiness knew no bounds. Texas!!!It was a dream come true moment. It was as though I had just finished packing, and I was already unpacking in my hostel room at Texas. But things never go the way you want. I met him. I was partially happy, and partially scared. History repeated. We were in the same friends circle this time. Will the rivalry continue?

He started walking toward her, causing her to instinctively take a few steps back. Before she knew it, she was pressed between the car and her husband, with no way to escape. Her breathing deepened as he gently held her chin, lifting it so that she had no choice but to meet his eyes. "Aap mujhe avoid kar rahi hain?" His voice was calm, but the question felt more like a statement. Her throat tightened, her voice stuck. She could only shake her head in denial. (Are you avoiding me?) "Nahi?" he repeated, slightly raising an eyebrow, as if daring her to lie. (No?) "Aisi... aisi koi baat nahi hai," she stammered, quickly ducking her head down as he loosened his grip on her chin. (It's...It's nothing like that) ------ Aisha grew up finding solace in her faith, which shaped her values and dreams of building a loving, faith-filled home. Since high school, she'd harbored a soft spot for Omar, a family friend whose ambition and drive set him on a different path. While Omar respected his parents' beliefs, his focus was on building a successful business, and over time, he distanced himself from religion, feeling isolated even within his close-knit family. When their families proposed marriage, Omar agreed out of respect, viewing it as a formality rather than a heartfelt commitment. A year into their marriage, Aisha found herself yearning for a connection that Omar, still focused on his ambitions, seemed unable to give. Yet, hints of change began to emerge, offering hope for a journey that might bring them closer, rooted in love and faith.

Being a Muslim girl and in a conservative family with three protective brothers to care for you for your entire life....It makes you spoiled, protected and well naïve to some point. My name is Sharia Qureshi. I am a cardiologist. Saving lives gives me the reason to live. I believe that living life for yourself is easy but giving a part of it to others is something worth living for. Starting as an intern at a reputated hospital was all I wanted after completing my degree. But never in my life I expected Allah would turn my life from a free spirited girl to damsel in distress with none other than the shaitaan(devil). #################### "You never married me with my own free will. You forced me and my family into this. Allah will make you pay for this." He started laughing at my face mocking my words. Breaking me. Showing me how powerless I was in front of him. He closed the gap between us, stepping dangerously close. I took a sharp breath as he held my my hair painfully pushing my scalp back leaving burning sensation. He leaned down to whisper hotly in my ears."You are mine and only mine to give pain. You will beg me to be free." # 15 Compassion (06/21/2021) #1 Compassion (10/19/2022)
