After a series of unfortunate events Arisa Southwark's reputation is severely damaged, being abandoned by her friends, falling into depression and dropping out of the prestigious boarding school she attended.

A year later, those friends who had ultimately betrayed her decide to spend part of their summer vacation together. Expecting a school reunion of sorts, the group comes to handle a revival of their own guilts and secrets when it is revealed that Arisa Southwark was also invited to the gathering.

Breaking through the walls of intelligence, beauty and talent these higher-middle class new adults have built around themselves since a young age, their true natures of selfishness, envy and irrationality become exposed, as they attempt to justify their affairs, poor decisions and lies in an attempt of coming to terms with themselves.
