Michelle "Ella" Conrad was what some would call an oddball. A menace to organized people everywhere, her hand doodled on every surface possible as if it had a mind of it's own, and her hair puffed out in unruly corkscrew curls she refused to tame. Larger than life in hair, body, and spirit, Ella wanted nothing more than to come out of her shell and lead a life of kindness and expression. Struggling to find her voice, she instead chooses a more discreet approach, starting with the boy across the aisle between the desks in her Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Small drawings with kind messages begin to appear on Remus Lupin's desk, his downcast eyes softening at the sketches of turtles and kittens and silly characters. Always signed with a dancing letter L. Though it's obviously the Hufflepuff girl with the big hair that draws on every surface imaginable, he doesn't say anything in fear of scaring her away. Thus bringing along the beginning of something much larger than life.
