It's been 3 years and Ivy hasn't received a call or a letter from her "boyfriend". Ivy's mother has been placed in a mental institution and her father vanished when she was a baby. After making a couple of friends and getting accustomed to the prison scene, Ivy begins getting sent roses with a message on them. The messages seem to be a warning but with no clue of who or where the roses are coming from, Ivy is left at square one. As the days pass on and the messages on the roses become more urgent, Ivy finds herself in a race against the clock as the people who she thought were by her side begins to turn on her. In prison it's every one for themselves and if Ivy plans on making it out alive, she has to follow the path of the roses. To make matters worse, Ivy's brother was shot and killed in his home due to her ex best friend setting him up. When Ivy comes face to face with her past burdens what will the insides of the prison reveal? Better yet will the roses will lead the way to Ivy's safe haven when everything before her crumbles?
