However, things take an unexpected twist once morning comes. You, along with all your friends, are thrust into a race against the clock to solve this murder mystery before the killer strikes again. Nobody is safe, and nobody can be trusted. [This story will start by following the Who Killed Markiplier? storyline, but will eventually stray until most of it is different and new. I am writing this because I have fallen in love with literally every character and I need a fanfic but there aren't any lengthy ones out yet, so here I am. "Please don't do this." I begged, as tears streamed down my face, making my mascara run. My eyes traveled from his face, that handsome boyish face, down to the floor. Down to the dead bodies. "Oh God," I choked, my life flashing before my eyes, as I felt his fingers slip from my shoulders down to the knife. He put it to my throat gently, so that he didn't cut it. Yet. "I'm sorry." He muttered. "Please...." I begged. "Please." His lips pressed against mine, and I shuddered against him. Dear God, Please don't let this happen. This is the story of how I met him. The story of how he stole my heart, just as carelessly as he stole peoples lives away from them. Maybe. Maybe not. When I think about it, I still smile. Even though I know the sad and terrible ending, I can't help but smile. He was my best friend. He was so loving. So caring. He taught me everything. But, he also destroyed everything. He was just like that. He was just the mass murder that loved me, and that's how I'll always remember him. I dare say, that's how I'll always cherish him.Complete

High school is when it happened. Criminals start to die, and I start to be more careful of what I'm doing. But we all knew about the one who kills them all... Kira.... I don't believe the fact that he's a god like everyone says... What's more weird, other than Kira, is the fact that the top student in school, Light Yagami, wants to befriend me. College life is the next step in my life. After college I want to join the police force, work under cases and such. Kira is still going around, killing people, now starting to kill innocent people. Then, the person who I'm forced to sit with talks to me again... Light.. But I know that knowing Light... Makes me feel uneasy. Especially ever since I passed notes with him in high school. Ever since then, I saw something by his side at all times, a shinigami... Shinigami.. Gods of death... Then there's a notebook I noticed that Light had.. Death note... I think Light is Kira.. But then I meet L, a member of the group who's working on the Kira case, the best detective in Japan, the one person who hides his identity.... Can I tell him..? Can I trust him...? He seems to trust me enough to tell me that he's L. But there are a few things stuck in my head... Why did he offer me to help him? Why does he want me to help at all? Why does he want me by his side? Why does he want me to choose a letter as a name? Especially for broadcasting? L.... You care about me... Don't you? Or... Are you just trying to make me feel welcome..? This was originally going to have a character but then I decided to make it and L x Reader story. Your point of view will be written in first person, this is only because this is my first x reader story. But I hope you enjoy nonetheless.
