A cat stood, outlined by the light of the fire, the flames reached out to devour anything in its path. The tom panted and breathed in the chalky air. His fur matted with marks of scorch and cinder. His eyes lit up as the flames grew.
A loud screech struck the air, he shivered, hoping the creature wasn't to near. He flatted his ears against his head to block out the caterwaul cries.
The orange flames grew and the cries continued to strike his ears. He looked around, knowing he had to get out. He forced himself forward and limped across the forest floor. This was only the beginning.....

Also I planned to stop writing this a few months ago but I've decided to keep continuing it! I'll probably edit it a lot so some part might be a little weird when the editing isn't fully finished.

Swiftlake fears for the future of her Clan, knowing that if RiverClan has a shred of hope left, it fell on her and her alone. No matter how safe Roselight is, no matter how secure WindClan is, Roselight can't stop looking over her shoulder, fearing she'd see those cold, empty, yellow eyes once again.

Timberheart leapt off the boulder "Is that a threat?!" he growled. Flamestar thought her words over "Maybe. Lakeclan to me!" she yowled before either of them had time to respond. He is a young Shadowclan warrior, and he is encouraged to get a mate soon to pass on all these perfect genetics. All the she's are after him, and all the toms want to be him. His battling and hunting skills are dismissed by everyone, and it makes him sick. His mother is the worst. She keeps telling him to hook up to a she ASAP. Don't be ridiculous! I am just glad that our kits are not allowed outside yet" a tortoiseshell tom said. Suddenly there came a loud yell from inside the no-pelt den. Out came a small female chimera kit yelling "I FOUND IT!" Those three words made two other kits hop out of the bellcat entrance. The first kit to come out was a tom with cream and white fur, laughing. The last kit came out was a white she-cat with long tufts of fur in between her ears. Her underbelly fur and tail was just as long, and the fur was long on her long tail. "Dream, Oat, Cloud get back inside the no pelt den right this instant!" The tom yowled. "Oh Frances doesn't be so harsh on them." the she-cat purred. "But Lucy, you know as well as I do that they will want to follow me to my no-pelt's den, then your no-pelt will be so worried that it will forget about you and will look for the kits," Frances said. "You don't have to worry so much." Dream said, "We would not be able to hop on top of the fence!" "Speak for yourself!" her sister Cloud said as she hopped onto the fence. She gasped as she steadied herself and looked out on the world beyond the fence. It was right then and there that she knew that was where she belonged. It would mean leaving her family and life behind, but that was where she was going to go the day that the other no pelts came to look at her siblings.
