In a world where being different was celebrated, that being different was supposed to be normal. The people of Nevania lived like this for hundreds of years. Until the Diviners came. They told the people of Nevania that if everyone was different then different was normal. And that if different was normal than different meant nothing and was nothing. (Confused yet?) So the Diviners created the reaping where a few people were chosen to be made normal, so that the others of Nevania could be different. These are the stories of the few chosen to be normal. The few that went through unspeakable things to be made normal. To give up the hope to create and discover. To live a normal life on Nevania, these few chosen were called Shells because they no longer had any magical abilities. Wait! Let me ask you a question, What will you do if the whole world is destroyed and you alone are left with millions of enemies to fight? Will you give up? Will you fight till the end? Or just run away? This is a story of a world beyond destruction and hope! This is a story where you will enter a new world of fantasy and adventure that you have never seen! The world was created, life was given, wars were fought and peace was established. In this perfectly normal world there are stories and unknown mysteries which are unsolved and yet to come, those very coming stories may change the future of the whole mankind, out of all those stories and mysteries there is one story of Will, a perfectly normal 20-year-old student with unusual white hair and the unfortunate fate of accidents, which will change the whole course of humanity. The story starts at the end of the world where there is nothing left on 'this world', only flames are burning to further destroy it and things people call 'monsters' usually known as some "unknown creatures" which are born just to make this world disappear ragged on this 'world' for unknown reasons, it's not that those reasons are unknown but it is still too soon for you guys to know about this yet. The world was burning and countless unknown creatures roamed around to kill anything which was in their sight but what could they kill? Everyone already died and nothing was left to destroy just waiting for this 'world' to slowly burn away. That's right because even if there was nothing left to call this a 'world' there was one small resistance left.... a person... yes that is right just one person... The only person who survived was a human, you may ask why did he survive? The answer is simple: he was able to survive because of one thing that we humans are best at and that is.... Ambitions, human drove themselves to fullness of their own. Some of them even discarded their humanities to gain what they're aiming for. Forgetting about the others, to get the power and wealth to rule over. Corrupted heart led to the broken pure soul into dark soul, the soul that contained with all negatives which led the people who contaminated with it, would do all bad things. When these phenomenons had spreaded all over, the more strange phenomenal thing occurred. The corrupted soul turned itself into more solid form like, being monsters looked like, and then attacking the human by entering the human body to possessed that body, until that human lost control of themselves, then that corrupted soul could completely possessed that body as its own. The human soul would be eaten and disappeared. So that, that corrupted soul with that body had completely became one and turned into solid form. As they had becoming big disaster, the Soulid, that's how that'd been called, someone have been chosen to be the Choosen. To take control of them, protect the humanities and to end the disaster. My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.
Across Two Worlds: The story of how I became a Hero
Have you ever wondered if you were meant to be something greater than what you ended up becoming but, life had other plans for you? Could it be something as simple as fate forcing us down whatever predetermined path was set upon our birth? No one can really say for sure what drives our lives in the direction they end up going. Sometimes we wake ourselves up to realize this isn't who I wanted to be and drown ourselves in delusions, convinced its unchangeable, or they are not willing to put the effort in to try to change their life because it may be to hard or painful. Others don't care content with the life they have and just float through life trying to not get caught up in everything. There are also those that blame fate or a higher existence then them for their problems and mistakes never truly taking accountability. This is the stories of several young adults, who by some interesting and what could be seen as cruel or traumatic events come together to fight fate and grow into the people they wish to become. Each has a past that was unfair, cruel, demeaning, or tragic. The defining trait they all share though, they may not realize it themselves is despite it all, they haven't given in. They found through meeting eachother the strength to fight on despite being subjected to some of the worst things that can happen to people. When a young man from our world dies doing something his ideal self would have done, he reflects on his life moments before leaving this world. Finding it Ironic that dying was the catalyst to him realizing he had lived his life all wrong. Surprisingly though he found himself in a place that was unrecognizable. He could never have imagined that this was only the start of what he now sees as a second chance. A chance to keep a promise he made to someone dear, and a new promise to himself that he would become what that person needed most back then, A Hero.
