25 years in the future

5 years after the war against the Alvarez empire, a rebellion that soon turned to a revolution turned the magic filled kingdom Fiore into an empire. The Malum empire. Magic was now illegal and punished by a public execution. Many great wizards were killed and forced into hiding. Legal guilds were just as good as a dark guild. That is what Fairy Tail was in the eyes of the empire.

MELODY

A girl who never knew her parents.

Her father disappeared before her mother even knew she was with child.

Her mother sacrificed her life right after her birth.

When she asked about her parents all the adults grew sad and said "We'll talk about this another time." Due to this response she quickly stopped asking about them. Therefor grew up with no knowledge about her parents.

Due to her being born with to much magic power for her little infant body, she was not aloud to preform magic. Even if she did she would fall ill days later.

Not to mention that weird stone right in the middle of her shoulder blades.

On her 10th birthday a woman came to the Redfox household, who had taken Melody in after her mothers passing, claiming Melody had to come with her. For this strange woman knew of Melody and the prophecy told before time itself.

8 years later Melody is back to fulfill the ancient prophecy.
