Katya Sotiris expects rejection and indeed it finds her. Brynlee Wallace, future Beta of her pack rejects her. She doesn't take it too well, even expected, the rejection still hurts.
Katya is a half-witch, she knows that, no one else knows about it except for her and her brother. Her witch powers are mostly triggered when she is angry. She is supposed to master her witch powers in order to shift into a wolf, which proves to be more difficult than anything else.
Katya has another problem. Jean-Luc, a high ranking vampire, seems to have taken a sudden interest in her. Now that Jean-Luc is in the picture, Brynlee seems to be possessive of her despite his rejection.
Why did Brynlee reject Katya? And will Brynlee ever sort out his mixed feelings for her or will he ignore the bond? Hearts are supposed to be broken, but whose heart will be broken the most? Will it be Katya's, Jean-Luc's or Brynlee's?
A/N: So I suck at descriptions, but I guess that was pretty descriptive, if not then just go ahead and check out the book. I promise, you won't regret it.
A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers.
*****
It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life.
