One spiralling event for Cameron and his whole world collapses in on him. Not only does he suffer the loss of a loved one but has unwillingly inherited a little unwanted gift from them. Forced to live with prunes for grandparents away from his home, the dogs soon begin to catch up with him again, consuming his life like never before. 

Unexpectedly things soon change for Erika too, confronted with an usual shell on the beach, things will never be the same. Not only does she have to suffer the constant calling of the nearby ocean but put up with the things that come with it.

When the two met they realise they share a special bond. They've never met before, but their is a connection neither can explain. Soon they realise they are each cursed- one perhaps more than the other. All this has happened before; close to them both, and together they will have to discover the truth about the past before it's too late. 

When the only way to break the curse is to find the cure, everything goes wrong, relationships are stretched, memories are delved too far. 
But what is the cure? 
Will they take it? 
Will it be eventually even be worth it?
