This is what I think would have happened if Harry had accepted Draco's friendship in first year. I plan to make it as accurate as possible, but some things will be different. This will follow all of the books. What will happen when Draco and Harry are friends? And when Voldemort is back? Will Draco stay close with Harry, or distance himself?

A Potions Mishap
When the eighth years return to the newly rebuilt Hogwarts to finish their NEWTs, a lot of things have changed. The Wizarding World is finally at peace and the looming threat of Voldemort diminished forever. But there's still a year left to go through. And it's already off to a rocky start. Harry Potter is showered with praise and celebrated as the one who saved the Wizarding World. A task already difficult enough, yet they soon find themselves tangled in a web of lies and facing a threat regarding nothing less but the safety of Hogwarts. To escape the effects of the potion and solve the mystery of the attacks, they have no choice but to trust the one they had every right to be wary of for the past seven years. The golden trio are hanging out in the library, studying for their finals that were yet to come. It was the year after the war, 8th year to be exact. Draco comes up to them and starts talking to them. The golden trio are very confused, Harry flirts, Hermione talks and Ronald, of course, gets pissy and leaves, they end up studying together and secretly hanging out a lot more in other places, mostly the room of requirements which some how fixed itself since the big fire. Draco and Harry become extremely close, bonding over Quidditch and feeling a bit of chemistry, Draco helps Harry with his potions while Harry helps Draco with his D.A.D.A. work. Hermione and Draco get kinda close as well, bonding over the fact that they're both smart and really enjoy reading and school. let's see where this journey takes us. Don't Wanna go - Part 1 - Before the War.
DRARRY What happens when Harry can no longer stay in the Gryffindor house? When he can no longer stand the constant 'meaningless pranks' being pulled on him. Why would Harry rather be with a group that has seemingly never treated him with kindness? What if they have, and no one knows, because of the chaos that it would cause? But when Harry needs to get out of the hands of those actually rather abusive Gryffindors, who will be at his side? Hermione and Ron? Or someone completely different. After successfully managing to gain custody of Harry, Remus and Sirius have raised Harry well. He knows that he's loved, and well-treated, and he's friends with Ron and Neville. However, a visit to Gringotts on Harry's tenth birthday to get him confirmed as the heir to the Potter and Black Houses proves that Dumbledore has done something awful to Harry, and they realise they must remain cautious of him. This leads us to Harry's very well-known first year at Hogwarts, but this time with Draco, Neville, and Hermione by his side. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Just a note: Most of the relationships will start to happen in the third book.
