The government has always been corrupt, hiding everything from the people they were supposed to protect. It was no surprise when they dropped the Moshito Bomb on Seattle in 2020. Stronger than the bombs they layed down on Hiroshima, it sent all of America into an apocalyptic wasteland. Very few people survived the explosion, and even then those people turned to madness. Veggitation began growing around the year 2030, surprisingly 10 years after the bombing. People were still left, but very few. But as the last few people tried to stay alive, the government was hiding far beneath the ground, holding back something even stronger.

Vitium Cavum. Or, the better known 'Hollow Disease'. Five years ago, in an alternate universe, scientists were on the verge of creating the immortality drug. Only, somehow, it escaped in the early stages of development, when everyone was working to rid of all the negative side effects. Those 'side effects' practically rip a person's soul away from them. Hence the name 'Hollow' Disease, because this virus makes whoever is affected an empty shell with no soul. Now, only a handful of people around the world are currently unaffected by this disease. Some of them had their families torn apart, some lost their friends, and some lost the person they were in love with. And that's where our story begins; in the year 2019, five years after Hollow Disease nearly destroyed the entire world. [Warnings: death, blood, violence, attempted suicide, suicidal thoughts, mentions of stillbirth, and other mature themes]
