Janice Blackwell was new in town. Her and her mom had just moved to Brentwood, TN to get away from her moms abusive ex-boyfriend. They stayed in Madison, AL. Janice did not like being the new girl to anything. Her starting school in two days is not making matters any better. Janice deeply wants to move back to Madison where she knows people and has friends, but she will be miserable there because of her moms ex-boyfriend Damien! Janice always seen the good in people, but she hated Damien with a passion. Janice has one year left of high school. She wants to make the most of it. Her plan is to come out of her antisocial, shy, quiet, and nerdy shell. She also sets out to help those that need it. Janice does not like seeing people hurting, suffering, or sad. If there is anything she can do about the situation, trust it will be done! Follow Janice on this journey in her new life to become a new and improved Janice while still being the caring, kind, giant heart person she is!

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same.
