"You take care of them okay?"
"Of course." John gave him one last nod before heading down the hall to where his hospital room was. Tom stayed frozen in the hallway, starring down at the floor as he waited for what was about to come. Not even five minute's later and he heard Sam shouting for help. Then the sound of nurses and doctors running into the room and shouting, the sound of the defibrillator being charged up came next, but Tom knew it wouldn't help. He turned away as Dean and Karoline went running by to join Sam and Alayna to witness the scene.
"It's our Dad! It's our dad!" That was Dean. Tom pressed his lips together into a tight line, raising his hand to cover his mouth as he heard the shock being administrated. Then everything went silent, and the whole world froze aground him.
"Time of death -10:41 A.M."
"Damn it." He muttered. "Damn it!" This time he nearly shouted it, kicking the wall beside him as he wiped the tear roughly from his cheek, before storming down the hall and out of the hospital.
