Veronica froze, paralyzed, her biggest fear having come back to life right in front of her.
She remained still and didn't dare glance up at him, she was sure she'd seen him come in a few times before but most of the time she would brush the incident off as her imagination or her mind wandering off too far.
[ Note this entire fic was for fun and fairly rushed, I usually wrote shitty chapters at 3 AM and rarely edited them, it's a work of crappy fiction w/ no proper plot line ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ]
