Kai Wang just took over his father's vast economic empire. Being the head of one of the biggest shipping companies in the world however, does not only attract money and fame.

Pauline Valentine's greatest idol while growing up was none other than Sherlock Holmes. Now at the age of 28 she is one of the most valuable members of the Security Wing of the Hong Kong Police. Her specialty: witness protection.

When Kai's mansion goes up in flames and he barely survives the fire, his father and the Commissioner of Police decide that he needs a bodyguard.
While Kai hates the idea generally he is shocked to find out that he is supposed to be protected by a woman – a tiny one at that.
Pauline certainly could imagine more fun jobs than babysitting the obnoxious tycoon, who apparently never learned any manners.
Unfortunately, whoever set fire to Kai's home does not give up so easily. As the threats to Kai 's live become more and more severe and Pauline is being targeted as well, the two have to put their differences aside and work together to get out of the story alive.
