Rose is a 17 year old girl who grew up in a broken home after her mother left and her father beat her every night. She's 'the nerd' at school and has no friends. Everyday is torture to her. Luckily, her father got sent to jail but after moving in with her mum Liz, short for Elizabeth and her mothers partner Mark, she becomes extremely close to Jack, Marks best friend. Is everything about to change for the better? What obstacles is she going to have to overcome to become a stronger person.
