Amelia was as happy as she had ever been, finally getting to race with her own horses. Finally getting a chance to ride alongside the men in the field and prove to them she deserved to be there as much as they did. However, the higher you are the further you have to fall. As Amelia's happiness starts to crumble around her she latches on to one person she thinks she can trust - the new guy they have working at the yard. She feels herself falling for this intriguing man who loves horses just as much as she does and who understands her, understands what she feels. But it turns out that he is hiding secrets himself, secrets that will change everything. Amelia starts to think that maybe she was wrong to put her faith in this boy she had just met and hardly knew, because the secrets and lies soon have her falling to pieces.
