[ SEQUEL TO TORN | CURRENTLY ON HOLD ]

Pyromania: A desire to set something alight.

Gerta had believed that she lived a normal life, but that was before the discovery of the novel, 'Torn'. She found her life being torn apart by dreams, discovering and even coming face to face with her doppelganger.
After being reunited with her once sister, she agrees to returning to her birth realm.
But her return proved not to be the easiest, and upon re-discovering her past she finds herself growing closer to her companion, Luke but further from her sister.

With almost all good memories of her sister gone, she finds herself fighting against her once close relative, to the point of leading her army into battle against the Eastern Nation, and even more so after the arrival of an unfamiliar guest...

Discovering the truth can prove to be difficult in Ehethra. Gerta must find a way to discover her once human mind in order to find peace with both her opposing nation..
And herself.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Recent events have cancelled this old, old story. However! The synopsis for the rest of the chapters I had planned for the sequel, Cloudborn, are at the end of the second book along with the planned third book I had planned to write. Feel free to enjoy the unfinished, old story as you please. And please remember that the new upcoming revamp is a side project that will not have my full attention, so it will not be guaranteed completion. However, the storyline is the exact same as the original Iceborn. So you needn't worry about being left in the dark! (Book 1 of the Iceborn Series) Years after the Dragonets of Destiny. Generations after the defeat of Darkstalker. Pyrrhia has been at peace for as long as their queens could remember. But the hatching of a special dragon might change the course of Pyrrhia's peaceful reign. A twin IceWing egg, hatching twin Dragonets. One with too much ice, the other with too little. Blizzard the IceWing is Iceborn. After being accused of murdering another of her kind, Blizzard is forced to flee the Ice Kingdom or be killed. While on the run, Blizzard runs into two very peculiar dragons. Two dragons with strange symbols on their bodies. Two dragons from a faraway land. A land where Blizzard could start over. A land called Magisalla. The Wings of Fire series Belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is merely a fanfiction. NOTE: This story was created before the announcement of the Lost Continent.

For as long as memory serves, it has consumed the lands of Druzatria, stripping away freedom and peace from the kindred who dwell there, claiming countless innocent lives as casualties. For Onyx, life has been blood and sand. She is a gladiator, made for battle, bound by chains. She was forged in the Queen's arenas, raised not as a daughter but as a weapon, honed by violence and bloodshed. Abandoned by her father and gripping to the fading memory of her mother; she's learned to bury any weakness deep, to survive at all costs. Though her power rivals that of the strongest, she is bound-imprisoned by the Queen's merciless hold, wielded only as a tool of destruction. The arena has sculpted her into an unbreakable warrior, yet she is locked in a relentless struggle with herself. Haunted by the urge for something more. Until an Orcish Halfbreed enters the pit, the clash of their blades ignites a fate neither could foresee-a fight that will alter the course of her fate forever. Setting both on a path neither expected. Will she fall further under the Queen's iron grip, or rise and claim the one thing she has fought for her entire life? Will she lose everything she has fought to keep? What is she willing to pay in return for her freedom? And is she willing to pay in blood?

From A Kingdom's Shadow

12 parts Ongoing Mature

Apondra had never really understood why she had to keep herself hidden from the world. The kind butcher who took her in as a child always answered the same, because of the war. The war between two neighbouring kingdoms to the west had been resolved almost a decade ago, so what was the worry if she showed her wings in public? Or stopped dressing elf-like to charade around town in? She yearned for freedom, even just to go out and make friends her age. Apondra wanted to see the world. Or at least travel the kingdoms of Galoahar. She had never even been to the capital city of the lands she grew up in with the butcher elf, Barri. But the goddess Mother and Father god, whom all worshipped in their own ways, had their own plans for her to realize. And it was finally time for their plan to be put in motion. But would she be ready for what her freedom would cost?
