Now aged 14, Mr and Mrs Pines decide it's time for their children to find a summer job. Fortunately for Mabel, she manages to get a job on the till at the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls. Dipper on the other hand craves adventure, wishing not to spend the summer cooped up in an underground lab with his uncle. 
However, the mystery-hungry teen is intrigued by an ad in the paper - a family searching for a summer intern to work with ghost research.
This leads Dipper to Amity Park, famously known for hauntings and paranormal activity, where he meets the Fenton family...
But something bothers Dipper about the son, Danny Fenton.

I do not own the characters on danny phantom or gravity falls. lowercase intended. written 2015-2016. i do not claim anything before chapter 08 as my own. i wrote this when i was 14 and it was heavily, heavily, HEAVILY influenced by the online comic cold front created by smphantom until i latched onto a different plotline. i have since spoken with the artist and they were very understanding. please check out cold front! it is very, very good.
