Love
   Noun \ˈləv\
( Definition made by Elle Winters ; Flirting and social valedictorian; Merit badge in blackmail; Love atheist)

A concept abused in books, songs, poems, etc. Quite possibly, a invented fairy tail exploided by capitalism.

Love
   Noun \ˈləv\
( Definition by : Theo Quasar ; Geek "chic" before geek was chic; Book lover; Biracial; P.H.D in dark humor; Secretly romantic)

Something capable of moving earth and oceans?? Incredibly odd? Or maybe just incredible?
????
                                                                   ------------------------------------
Elle and Theo's story seems doomed to end with a kiss. Or a slap.

There's nothing that could possibly join them- if it wasn't for the fact that they're both obsessed with writting. So when they manage to become protegés of the highly shady but equally prestigious writter named Clarissa Bones in The New York Times, there's no telling what'll happen and who will triumph in the end. Especially once they become best friends.

Sure, Elle's stunning and a master at manipulating others ( Even hot rock stars) but she's haunted by family drama and her refusal to open her heart to others. And yes, Theo may be the one getting blackmailed and has only mastered the art of making people uncomfortable but he has something that Elle is oblivious to.

So, place your bets: Are you sure you're right about how you think this story is going to end?

Kitty Cohen and Felicity Campbell are soulmates. Fliss has been sure of this ever since they shared a room their freshman year of college, when their friendship emerged fully-formed the moment they met. They've seen it all together: disastrous house shares; shitty post-grad apartments; too many relationships to count. Now everything's about to change. Kitty is getting married and Fliss didn't think she'd be this heartbroken. Levi's a nice guy. He understands his fiancée's friendship, and he and Fliss get along just fine, but he's just a guy. He isn't special enough for Kitty. But then a shaken Kitty turns up on Fliss's doorstep a few weeks before the big day: the wedding is off. Fliss didn't think she would be so relieved to hear that. Weird. The honeymoon is all paid for, though, so Kitty has a proposition: a girls' trip to Las Vegas, just the two of them and two weeks of drinking and overheating and exploring everything Sin City has to offer. Why not, right? Fliss has barely left the east coast and it's about time she took advantage of her company's unlimited PTO. It'll be nice to have an uninterrupted vacation with her favorite person. Then they get to their all-expenses-paid honeymoon suite and the hotel thinks they're married and it's easier to go along with it than explain the situation. It's not like it matters, right? It's a bit of fun. Until, slowly but surely, Fliss realizes her feelings are more than platonic. Maybe they always have been. And now she's stuck sharing a bed with her best friend, who is pretending to be her wife. © Elle Carrigan 2023

"Fuck you, Springs" - he spats "In your dreams, Henderson" "How'd you know?" - he replies, with a smirk on his face. Jade Springs only had one goal in her life and that was to make it till 20. See,Jade wasn't really a very happy person. She was quite the opposite. Well if you can call an quiet, socially awkward, no friends and shit grades person happy. And not to mention the fact that her only happiness is reading books and making playlists about them. James Henderson is the opposite of Jade. He is a very out going person, who would do anything to see his friends happy even if that means that him, himself wouldn't be. Some people think that that's a weakness but James sees it as a very good quality. Of course his biggest rival Jade doesn't think so. Anytime they have an assignment together she would always call him out on that, while James would call her out on her no socialism and her shitty eye bags. What he would not tell her is that he kinda finds them attractive. Very attractive. Jade and James are fine with never talking to each other but there is one tiny problem. They both have the same two mutual friends. Avery and Xander. That and the fact that their families are really close. Like really close. When they were kids James's family would come over all the time. But that's not what we're here to talk about. We're here to talk about Avery and Xander, well for now. Avery and Xander are absolutely crushing crazy with each other. Of course everyone else sees it but them. Their misscommunication is driving both Jade and James crazy. One day when they're seated together for an assignment they both can't take it anymore and come up with a plan to get their idiots together. Well more likely a deal. Which one will be able to get Avery or Xander to confess first wins. But what they don't realise is that they are actually setting themselves up. *perfect for "better than the movies" lovers! *

[Complete - Wattpad Featured Story April 2018 ] "You have a contract?" Chase ripped the papers out of Lewis' hands. "And you signed it?" "It's a good idea, Chase." I shrugged, resting my hands in my lap. "I just want things to go back to normal." "And you chalk the fighting up to sexual tension between the two of us? That makes a whole lot of sense," he scoffed. "No, I just think this protects us from having that kind of conversation. What if Lewis found out he had feelings for me-" "Or for Chase." Lewis added in with a seductive smile. "It always starts with a hand on the shoulder." - Bree Hendly's life had never been truly complicated. She had her father, she had her best friend Chase, and she had her writing to keep her sane. But that didn't mean that everything would always be so simple. The second Lewis Doolan and Alan Green inserted themselves into her life, she knew that things would change. Her best friend and secret crush begins to pull away, only for her to find out that Alan also holds a hidden love for her... Or so Lewis says. With this new knowledge of love under the two's belts, Bree and Lewis must find a way to keep these bubbling feelings hidden, or it could cost them the best friendships of their lives. Their solution? Create a rule, one that prohibits any, and all relationships outside of the friend zone. Though even if Bree and Lewis think they have things all figured out, Chase and Alan each have a plan of their own; One that includes capturing the heart of Bree Hendly for themselves, no matter what the cost may be. - ◦Winner of The Rubik's Story Award in the 2017 Prose Fiction Awards. ◦Completed! ◦Sequel - The Distance Theory - is now on Wattpad! © Shay Spencer.
