The Godless: Emancipated Soul

Centuries ago, when Earth was not under the control of God, it was ruled by a cruel and heartless creature, called Neuron. Coming to our planet, God saw how Neuron treated his subordinates and devised a plan with Satan to take back the authority of Earth. It was a very difficult mission.

Time passed, and history became myth, myth became legend, and soon passed out of mind, forgotten forever.

In XXI century Aren, a young man from a wealthy family, (previously directionless and listless, finds the potential within himself for great change.) finds new potential within. As Aren discovers his abilities and begins to test their limits, he becomes the target of a desperate hunt, slowly realizing that while his growing powers were previously unknown to mankind, they are not unknown to some outside the realm of man.
He has no one to turn to for help, no friend to rely upon, nobody he can trust. And as he seeks escape from the constant chase, he begins to understand. These are not humans hounding him as they bear a power Aren has never seen in his lifetime.

Who are they? Why do they need in Aren? What does Aren have that they long for? While Aren tries to find answers, to find somebody who can help him, he perceives that he has discovered the long lost myth and that the hunting of angels has begun.
