Daniel Warrington has a plan for his life. he's going to join the Armada, rise through the ranks, catch the pirate that killed his father, and bring him to justice. but all that changes when he gets locked in a barrel, and taken aboard the Black Siren. the infamous pirate ship that had attacked his home years ago, and as soon as he realizes, murder sets into his heart. But the captain isn't what he expected, for some reason Jack Declark trusts him, and he's going to use that. as soon as he gets the chance, he's going to deliver all the information he's gathered about the crew of the Black Siren to the armada. but along the way, he makes new friends, realizes that maybe not everyone is as they seem, and that maybe the armada isn't such a valiant force of nature after all.

Jo Mast had a rough start to life. Up until she was seven, Jo had lived in an abusive household with only her pretend adventures in the tree house next door with the neighbor boy to keep her sane.
