After Naomi's dad past away, everything has been difficult for her. Kya can't watch her own daughter feel this kind of hurt anymore, so she gets the idea of sending Naomi to Republic City. Where she can get away from all the hurtful memories, and live there with her uncle, his family and Naomi's childhood friend the amazing Avatar Korra. Avatar: The Legend Reborn - Book 1: Hope
The Legend Reborn is a story I wrote in late 2014 about the Avatar after Korra. After the release of the Legend of Korra follow up comics I went back and added references to the events of the comics but didn't change my story. Following the 2021 announcement of Avatar Studios I decided to share my ideas since it's very possible Bryke could decide to continue the Avatar Cycle and render my story implausible. I hope they instead decide to go backwards (possibly a Kyoshi series) since there are also many other great fan projects that would be rendered implausible by a Korra sequel (notably The Legend of Genji, a project very different from my own but has my respect and admiration). But who am I to disagree with what Mike and Bryan do with their own fantastic universe.
