Fairy Tail Hunger Games

A sleepless night follows into fearful morning. Our names could be the death of us as they spin in the bowl. Each and every girl and boy from ages 12-18 will swallow down their fear and hold their head up high.

Hair preped, shoes tied. I'm one of those rich District 2 children. My father is the mayor of our small town so my name is only entered once. Although my family comes from a higher class I still am entered into the hunger games.

"Lucy Heartfilia."

My thoughts freeze as Im called up to the stage. I clench onto my necklace as I step onto the steps. One my one my breathing increases, my palms suddenly feel clammy and my head pulsates.

I take the slip of paper and look down at all those lucky people below me. I can see sympathy transcribed into their boney little faces. Some mothers are crying and others just look at me and I can see in their eyes that they know they will never see me again.

The ceremony is over. As am I.

I wave goodbye to my little town.
