BELOW JUDGEMENT

Police brutality in america is bad as it is, and has been especially bad to the african american community since well.....forever. In the recent news these past weeks over 6 african americans (mostly males) have been killed by police officers; Those who are primarily caucasian. In so many instances caucasan americans have pushed the lines of what should have landed them shot or brutally beaten. Thus some how police give them a more genle approach, where an african american whos done less receives horrendous treatment. This is so unfair .... as an African american in the united states i face the ridicule and discrimination that they try to keep swept under the rug. Those who argue this down usualy are cucasian americans, and have had no taste of what it feels like to be "black"....they rather look past their soceties racist faults. This poem is a look into the feelings of the victoms, their families, and the communities affected.
