Third book! Please go read my first and second book before this one!
Season four of TWD!
Four months after the people of Woodbury joined Rick's group at the prison, everything seems fine. Casey was broken, everything was broken, but now she's fixed. At least she thought she was. Casey kept her inner beast hidden knowing it would scare the others. People treat her like royalty, and she hates it, but she isn't the only one who hates it.
Things with Carl and her are going fine, until something happens and they change. That leads to her bringing out the beast and everyone was terrified. Now that things have changed after months of peace. Casey is having second thoughts, on everything.
"I never asked to be immune! You think I like it, everyone depends on me to be something! We don't even know if I'm a cure or not, or if I am anything. I don't want to be the only immune I want to be nobody! These visions these dreams, they scare me to death, I know when people are going to die, every time I bleed I put everyone in danger. The thing that can't kill me, is the only thing that can kill me when I'm transformed! I don't want to be immune anymore! I'm just a lucky girl, in an unlucky world, trying to survive."
She thinks this is the worst it can possibly get, but the Governor is still out there, thirsting for revenge.
How will she survive knowing what she had done, to herself, the the group, to Carl. She can never take back what she said.
Meanwhile Jude is still out there searching for Casey, the cure. And J is still hiding somewhere in the prison. With J's guidance and Rick's leadership, J is the last hope Rick has for everyone.
'Who are you J?'
'Someone here to help.'
One message, one person, one hope, J.
'Rick Grimes, things are about to go down hill, just follow my directions and everything will go up hill. Do you trust me Grimes, if so, I'm here to save you. I'm here to save everyone.'
~J
A year and a half after the war with Negan ends, CJ and her husband continue to survive and live to build their future, surrounded by friends and the people they love. Conflicts arise and old wounds get opened, and she ends up losing another that she loves.
Years after the great loss, CJ is finally in a place where she feels like things are settled. Good times make up for the bad, and she sees a future ahead of her and her family. Until new enemies make themselves known, and everything changes once again.

"We're gonna get through this... We are, I promise you."
"It just feels like we spend our lives fighting. We win one fight and then the next just seems to knock on the door."
"And we'll win this one too. Remember what you used to tell Carl, what you tell people even now when they need hope. Say it."
"We're the ones who live."
"Goddamn right we are."
