Nearly seventy years in the future, two young adults face the struggles of living in a world that doesn't believe they have powers.
Neither one has any idea that the other has powers, since it isn't common-or possible, according to most- in their world.
The two have been in the same school and, often, the same class, since second grade, but have barely noticed each other.
Now they're fifteen and moving on to high school, and as they begin to use their abilities more often, things change, and each begins to realize that they might not be alone after all.
