Jordan Morrison is barely grazing the age of eighteen and has already endured a lot for a teenager: the separation of her parents, an alcoholic mother, and being dyslexic. Tensions are already boiling in her family and when something catastrophic happens to the one person who means the most to her, she can't take it anymore. Determined to find some sort of meaning, purpose and happiness in this one life, she sets off to let go the chains of the past that held her captive for seventeen years.

She wants to finally be free.

And maybe she will meet someone who can help with that.

12 parts Complete

Indigo Peterson lives in a fragile home with her fragile family. Her life is a constant struggle and she barely manages to keep herself alive. What will happen when more and more problems get thrown at her? Will she stay strong or will she crumble? "Growing up in a fragile home isn't romantic. It's not cute and it's definitely not desirable. When you hear your mother stumbling in at 2:17 AM with her "co-worker" and a bag of weed it isn't funny. When your younger brother flinches every time your father looks at him, it isn't comedic. When your little sister is always scared and muttering to herself and constantly getting thinner it isn't adorable. When your drunken father gambles away your college funds it isn't comedic. When you have to become the mother of your younger siblings it isn't brave. What it is, is tragic." WARNING: This story has some mature themes. Reader discretion advised.
