Jamie was a troubled teen with strange dreams and a twisted grip on reality. Since she could remember, there had always been things that only she could see: strange rainbow roads that called to her and extended into the shadows; dreams that seemed so real she wondered if her day to day life was actually "the dream"; and even more peculiar, a strange boy that seemed to be there one minute but not the next.

Slightly schizophrenic they said, but as her mother would say, there was always a drug for that.

But lately, Jamie's sense of reality has been getting more and more bizarre. I mean, visions aren't suppose to be corporeal and able to attack other people right? And even that boy that has been watching her is now talking to her.... and Jamie has just met a lot more people who either have her exact same condition (and are living in her mind) or maybe she wasn't as sick as everyone claimed her to be...

The Lighthouse Keeper

13 parts Complete

"Well, why DO you want me here?" He sits back in his seat, and takes a breath as if trying to figure out how to tell me something. He finally says, "I'm lonely here in the lighthouse. And even though there's and unlock button, it only lets others in- it doesn't let me out. So I couldn't be with anyone going out, but if I let someone in..." he pauses, and smiles. "And then I saw you on the screen the first day I searched. I don't think it was a coincidence that I searched at random and found you. I think it was fate, Claire." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Claire follows a dangerous dare to break into the 'abandoned lighthouse', she finds that it's not so abandoned, after all. It turns out that the owner, teenage Francis, is trapped in the lighthouse by a strong magic, and though he has everything he could ever want, he's lonely. Claire, now trapped inside, as well, starts to develop feelings for the lighthouse keeper... PLEASE NOTE: I wrote this story when I was twelve, and it hasn't been edited. I put it on here for some laughs XD Hope you enjoy anyway!
