From the Ashes We Rise

17 year old Lexi flees the city after receiving a note minutes before a small bomb destroys her hometown. She is first captured, then saved by a group of people who have also fled their hometowns. In an attempt to escape she spots a strangely familiar man, one who she has thought to be dead for years. She joins with a group, once known as the Uprising, to survive in a new world while constantly uncovering secrets about her past and the future of her world.
