He pulled me into his arms and held onto me tightly. I could feel his warm breath as he buried his head into my neck. The heat radiating from his body is almost as warm as the glow of the sunset right now.

"I don't know how I feel about this, I've never let anyone get this close to me, ever. And right now, looking at you, I feel really apprehensive about whatever this is." Dom said, looking into my eyes sternly.

"Don't think, let me in. I promise I'm not like the rest, do you trust me?' I looked at him lovingly and caressed his cheekbones. I've never realized how structured his jawline is, and how blue his eyes are.

He nodded along and closed his eyes. I laid my head against his chest and listened to his heartbeat. It was beating so fast, he's nervous. This is the first time he's letting someone into his life. Now that I got his heart in my hands, I pray that I won't ever misuse it.

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
