Landon Carter is a school badboy. He never liked to go to school plays or even participate in activites. He never even went to church. But that changed when he met Jamie, the conservative and smart but always bullied in school. That happened in their musical. Jamie sang with her sweet voice and Landon then passionately kissed Jamie on her cheek even though that was not part pf the script. There, their love developed until they became lovers.
But while they were dating, Jamie told Landon that she was diagnosed with Leukemia. Landon did not have second thoughts if he should leave Jamie or not because he knew that He love Jamie sincerely and true with all his heart. Before Jamie would die , Landon asked Jamie if she could marry him. "YES!", was the answer of Jamie. Jame then left Landon with her sweet memories.
After four years, Landon graduated and he became a pastor.
One cold summer dawn, someone knocked on his front door. When he opened it, he saw a beautiful baby crying inside the open box. He tucked the baby in his room and fed him. The next day, Landon tried to find the perfect parent for the baby but no one wants to be. After weeks of finding someone to be the baby's parent, Jamie's father told Landon that he could adopt the baby. Landon knew that the baby would be his only family. So, he decided to adopt her and named her Destiny. Landon ended up with his adopted daughter.
Thirteen years later, Destiny found a new adventure towards her highschool life. Is it a journey towards her dreams or something even more better : love?

I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me.
