He was following me. again. God help this boy.
I was annoyed more than I thought I could take, so I stopped and slowly turned around to face him.
"Can I ask what it is about me that you find so unbelievably fascinating?" I finally snapped at him. He took a wide-eyed step back.
"Whoa, Mace, I'm sorry I thought-"
"Yes, Derek. tell me just what exactly it is that you thought," I gritted out sarcastically. "That I liked you? well, newsflash, Dare, If you were Goddamn listening to a word I've been saying for the past... what? year?" I took a breath after the rhetorical question, daring him with my eyes to answer it. "And if you would pay attention to the dead giveaways and hints I've been dropping you, you would realise I don't like you! Never did, never will."

Macy MacLenon isn't special. She isn't a nobody either, just neutral, and she prefers to keep things that way. She also prefers to stay single; all that heartbreak and drama and searching for the right guy wasn't her thing, like love and feelings weren't her thing. She tried countless times in the past with guys but it never worked out how she hoped. So it really doesn't help that her best friends older brother is beyond obsessed with her.
Frustrated and fed up with Derek's persistent and child-ish lovesick ways, will Macy give it a shot just to shut him up, or will she crush his heart for good?
This is not your typical, repetitive, cliché, predictable teen romance novel. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, an unexpected chain of events unfolds leaving you reeling and begging for more (No sexual innuendo intended, Haha). Enjoy ;) <3
