My heart jack-hammered in my chest and I was having trouble breathing from running so hard.
I almost bent over, my hands wrapped around my chest, trying to slow down my furious heart before it jumped out of my rib cage and started to run a marathon on its own.
Spots danced in front of my eyes, some functioning part of my brain registered the fact that the following foot steps were still hot on my heels.
I didn't need to look back to know that he was still after me.
He was always there, breathing, following and of course, stalking.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at.
