When seventeen-year-old Olivia Partridge discovers her best friend and her boyfriend too close for comfort, she doesn't think her night could get any worse. But unfortunately, it does. In the span of twelve hours Olivia looses her boyfriend, best friend and parents.

Closing herself off to the world, Olivia finds comfort in reading. After wishing that a character from her book, who is too perfect to be real, come to life, her life is thrown of course.

In the process of falling for the right guy Olivia's ex boyfriend, Ryder, comes back into the picture. For the first time since the night where he broke her heart, Olivia finds herself remembering all the reasons why she fell in love with him in the first place.

In stories it's always easy to know whom your prince charming is. But for Olivia, it's a blurred line.
