Fifty percent. That's how many were sucked into their own screens. I've read stories about this shit. Cliché, yes, but believe it or not, it happened to me. Thousands of Minecraft users were drawn into the game, some clueless noobs, some trained professionals. I was in between. All of us have to avoid death at all costs.
But boy, was I glad I got chosen to live in this game. I'm never leaving.
The only problem with that is the gate that brought us here will close in ten years.
I will reseal it, no matter what.

I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. We must focus on guiding the Magic; not controlling it. For it is through controlling it we allow it to control ourselves. Time between dimensions is in a constant state of flux. There is no way of saying how many years have passed, nor how many will. However, the saying remains the same: "Yesterday was history, Tomorrow is a mystery, But today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." =+=+=+= This is another Hermitcraft fanfiction, set in a season eight/nine AU (Evolution-EmpiresS1-HCS8-HCS9-Watcher AU). I don't own any of the characters; they belong to the Hermits as their Minecraft Personas. This book also sporadically features Evolution and Empires SMP characters. Pearl is the main character, but there are a few backstories followed as well. The first part of the chapter will always be Pearl, and the second a backstory (with a few exceptions when the chapter gets extra-long). Answer the chapter questions if you feel like it, even if you live in the mysterious future. I don't ship. I'm not certain about the hermit preferences, so I'd prefer to leave that to them and portray all of them as amazing friends (which they are). =+=+=+= There will be angst to satisfy your hunger. Sabre... no. Elan always knew about the multiple worlds that were being created because of the videos he posted. Whether it was an alteration of the worlds he created or even new ones that had a basis similar to his, it didn't matter. You create something that people like, you are more likely to spark someone's imagination into creating their own worlds. That's just how things are. At least the stories were only imaginary... Called the "Sealed Reality," our small world is cut off from everything else, but not for no reason.
