Someone once told me that when a person dies, the residue of their souls rise to the heavens and resurrect as stars. I wonder what that means...I wonder if every time we wish upon a star, we're actually asking that our wishes be granted, by one who has passed long ago. . .but wouldn't that mean that the stars are actually capable of sentience? That somehow, they can hear us. That somehow...someday, they'll come down to this God-forsaken world and make it a little better. . . .and maybe then this war may end, and I won't have to fight and be a part of this massacre they call justice. -A.
