Alice's POV 
How could Tyler do that to me, he was my step brother. I sat there on my old attic bed crying waiting for everyone to fall asleep. I left the house and headed straight for school, I saw the entrance and opened the double doors. I ran up the steps and went on the roof to end it all. I put my note on the roof, backed up and jumped. The second my feet left the ground they were pulled back onto the roof. 

I looked behind me and saw Xavier holding me tightly to his huge chest. "Let me go Xavier, I wanna jump!" He stopped staring at the ground and looked straight at me. "You are not jumping okay, I care about you too much to let you jump." I stopped struggling for a second but continued to after, "Why do you care so much, you never noticed me till now" he stared at me in disbelief but just dragged out of the school anyways.
