Taylor Miller is just starting her senior year of high school. Her boyfriend just broke up with her and now she is trying to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. Enter new student, Dereck Jones. He's nothing like the other guys in school. Nope not at all. It's not because he's black and its not because he looks like a freaking sex god. Nope. It has more to do with the fact that he wants Taylor. He wants to help heal her heart. Dereck hasn't ever felt this way about anyone before. Yea he's dated, I mean seriously a guy that hot could never be single for long. One problem. Taylor doesn't know if she can trust Dereck. Will she take a chance and let Dereck help her find the pieces of her broken heart?

"Do you know how hard it is for me knowing that you're with someone else?" Tyler asked, staring at me intensely. "You think this is easy for me?" I asked, trying to hold back my tears.
