How to be famous

Jayne's life has always been straight and boring. She has never fitted in, due to her straight As, inability to play sports, glasses and braces. So it's no wonder that when a famous new actor attends her school and starts showing interest in her, she is awfully surprised. He is really sweet, but she can't help but feel that he is from a different planet. I mean secret disguises, seriously? Without realising, she auditions for the school play and things go awry. After an unexpected job offer from an unexpected source, it looks as if Jayne may be heading to Hollywood.
