Princess Peach has been the target of many kidnappings by the Koopa King Bowser.  She's finally hitting the end of her rope though, as she's now afraid to even enjoy the moments of peace she has with her friends and family.

That all changes when she receives the black book.  It's here that she begins to find solace and peace in the dark arts.  Over time she becomes consumed by her darkness, and decides to take matters into her own hands.  If she can't depend on anyone to protect her, then she'll just have to protect herself.

Even if that means becoming the most feared person in the world.

Mario has faced many challenges in the Mushroom Kingdom.  He has fought Bowser, evil demons, ALIENS of all things, and through all of that he's protected Princess Peach.  What will he do now though, when the threat to the world IS Princess Peach?  Will he be able to fight his closest friend?  Can she be returned to the light?

Or has her heart been forever tainted by the darkness?

But in reality he learns that his 'dream' and the negativity that has spread through out the Mushroom Kingdom share a connection. Not only that...Luigi seems to have the same connection, but to light and positivity instead. Could this only be a coincidence? The two don't think the same at all. They both eventually find out that Luigi has the power over Light...and Mario has the power over Darkness. While Mario struggles to control this darkness they find that the balance between those two entities have become disconnected. Will light prevail and darkness expire? Mario knew Princess Peach for a long time. In fact, it felt like an eternity since he first met her. He wanted to propose to her so they could have a life together because why not? The timing couldn't be more perfect. However, one day, Mario finally gets ready to propose to Peach, when he finds out last minute that she's taking a vacation for a while. Bummed out but understanding, Mario awkwardly holds his question for when she comes back. Then it further escalates to a bigger problem -- Peach's family is wanting to permanently move to the location of their vacation. Mario becomes devastated and tries to talk things out with Peach in order for her to not leave him because she means everything to him. Will Peach be able to stay or will things take a turn for the worse for the poor plumber?

He had to make sure his kingdom thrived of for years to come. Luigi was content with a quiet life, but with a princess be kidnapped constantly there was no quiet. Accompanying his brother on this rescue, he saw how ruthless he got when he went rescuing. After helping every Koopa on his way, including the one of the sons of the king, Luigi may find something he hasn't found or bothered to look for, and Bowser will learn sometimes being soft for other is the most masculine thing you can do. All characters used here are owned by Nintendo, I only own the cover art.
