Boundaries

As spring marks the revival of life after winter, blooming flowers give birth to pixies, each breed of flower presenting the world its own special kind. The sunflowers, the orchids, the lilies, and so on -- each with its own species, its own type.
Hostile to each other, there is rarely ever any interaction between pixies of non-similar breed, for there is no reproductive advantage.
However the social boundaries between kinds will be tested when a bluebell named Øyvind finds himself unable to resist spending his days with a rose. Hiding away in in the grassy depths away from the flower communities, they find danger in attempt to escape their homes for love and even join other runaways in their quest.
It is up to them, and them alone, to change the precedent the tree monarchs have set.
